i'm vietnamese with chinese blood dude. plus, i'm still fairly new at styleforum and still enjoy playing with these smiley faces/emoticons. never was it even close in my mind that putting a violin emoticon implying that i thought that all chinese people played violin. i was simply echoing the sentiment that the hotel workers probably don't give two ***** about washing someone else's jeans...

They took my nudies and basically all my clothes near the laundry bag because they "thought" I required their services. Any ideas how to get compensation for my TIME spent on my nudies, and even MONEY to buy a new one?

You don't get compensated for your time - give it up. But I'd stand firm on getting the full price for a new pair, simply as decent customer service.
