This didn't garner the recognition it deserved. I really dig the cuffs on the sleeves also. Personally, I would have opted for another pocket square to avoid the matchy-matchiness of it all, but it's still a warm and effective flourish on an otherwise unembellished and elegant outfit.
Disagree. Dandy leprachaun with loafers at that. Sorry.

it did look like a nice tone of olive.

exactly. also stitchy talked about an olive pair in the gg thread hence my assumption. at the end, it was just bad lighting :)

Thanks !

The question of matchy-matchiness (in general) is obviously a very subjective one, and consequently IMO furtile to discuss. I just have this general observation to make:

It seems to me that there are 2 kinds of "matchy-matchiness": One to be avoided (most) and another which is quite OK. I feel many members are very fast to denote some combinations, being matchy matchy, because it so much easier to say so, instead of actually go into the context in question and evaluate based on factor such as tradition, style, taste, occasion, colour awareness etc etc.

I don't think one should automatically denote a combination just because something matches!

Please note that this is not in defence of this outfit, but as stated, a general observation.:bigstar:

A few comments said the jacket is way too small for me. Happened to wear the same one today and here is a better picture. I would actually take a half an inch or more off the chest.
