I think it looks good, but imo, those trousers call for darker shoes.

Yeah - I don't own the shoes I wanted to wear with this today - I need to expand the rotation! I often wear the same pair twice a week. For shame. :embar:

This is the first time I have experienced them, and I really, really love them. Look for a dub munk and a cap toe in the near future. The last is pretty much perfect for my style and foot. Win/win.

I didn't bought the Carmina Double Monks because I'm not all that crazy about the colour. But pehraps next collection comes with a colour to my taste, or else if I decide to buy in present colour, I will have to do some polish work on them

Cheers

Well gents, it has been ages since I posted a fit. Feel free to tear into the jacket, as I just received it yesterday and decided to steam and wear it :tounge: The shoulders may be too wide to be wearable, but heaven help me I love Isaia! Also, does this colour shirt look ok with this moss green jacket?

To help you guys ease into the pain of seeing my atrocious fit, here is my puppy and her brother staring at the camera.

No offense, but I don't like this style of cufflinks, to me a french cuff is something very elegant and luxurious, and these cufflinks just aren't.
To be honest I think they ruin the whole idea of a french cuffed shirt.

To each his own, of course, but I don't see how a lovely piece of silk knotted at one's wrist is any less elegant or luxurious than, say, a lovely piece of silk knotted at one's neck.

Not bad not bad!

If that's directed at me, sir, I thank you.

- Perhaps buttoning the top button might give a cleaner look, as its not a 3r2
- I'm not sure about the PS. Perhaps plain white would be better, or another colour border. This is too close to the suit.

Good points, Roger. I can't argue with either one. There's a reason I don't button the top button on that jacket, though. The lapels never rolled much in the first place, and then a thoughtless dry cleaner flattened them even more about a year ago. Now when I do up the top button it only serves to emphasize the flatness of the lapels. Sadness.

I bring you more daily tie stizzle courtesy of my boy PG. View the whole thing here.

That' video's cool in a lot of ways, but my favorite part is at 0:42 when PG slides into his jacket so smoothly that he doesn't even need to tug his shirt cuffs out of the jacket sleeves. :slayer: How is that even possible?

I drop three pounds between post supper and pre breakfast. Maybe my body is weird?

Three pounds? Not to brag or nuthin', but I can drop three pounds in one trip to the bathroom. Just sayin'.

Hoarder

Today I'm breaking that no-striped-odd-jacket rule (never really cared for it anyway). Cut off the head in the pics as the hair looked gruesome.
