Probably the only time I will post here; I'm 18 and I just had prom the other day. This is what I wore. I knotted the tie a bit short and was too lazy to fix it... I regret it now looking back on pictures. And I didn't have a pocket square. Regret that too...

And sorry I don't have any good photos, but I'd still like some critiques of anything obviously wrong.

I'm the short one wearing the gray suit and purple tie btw. My tie got pretty wrinkly after I wore it. I did knot it pretty tightly to try to get a nice dimple. I think I might have knotted it too tight? It's been like a week and the wrinkle hasn't gone away; I'm pretty concerned. Also the thread seems a bit loose in the back. I'll have pictures up in a bit, but can anyone help with these issues? Edit: Added pictures

Yet another blue SC outfit. Yes, I've worn this jacket in another post, but I wanted to try it out with a different combination (next time it will be a totally new ensemble). [\\quote]

The pictures are of varied quality.

Great use of texture and pattern. Colors look good on you - it's all good.

I do wonder if you might like a slightly narrower tie?

Got my SC back from the tailor. Had the sleeves shortened a bit. Sorry about the jeans, normally I'd wear something a bit more formal with a SC.

I'm not sure how and why vox offended you in the past. He tends to make fun of everyone and everything, and you might be taking it a bit too personally. I think he has made fun of my pictures 2 or 3 times in my early days (I've learned not to post any questionable pictures nowadays

), but being a light-hearted and good-natured person that I am, I laughed with everyone and took no offense. People criticize your fits, because there is something to criticize. No one cares about your sexual orientation, at least I like to think so. Most of the times you posted your outfits, I also wanted to say something, but you looked so natural in your clothes, that I thought it to be pointless.

All this talk about SF declining is becoming annoying. So, yfyf is not posting anymore, but NOBD is. And Nii. And PG. And even vox is. I see some great fits from new members. The forum is moving on. I don't think it's any less entertaining or enlightening than it was 2 years ago. Crusty, maybe most people don't understand your style, but it doesn't mean they don't like you. You either improve (as the masses here see it) or keep pushing on. Either way, we've long learned to accept you. If you want no comments and only praise, this is the wrong forum to post pictures of your fits in. People may be meaner here, but they speak the truth. And they aren't trying to offend anyone. Just help. That's why I keep coming back.
