I believe I won that coveted status some time ago with a retina-blazing yellow large paisley. I sold it a while back to someone here and I think I described it as the ugliest tie ever seen; can't remember who bought it.

My thanks to Spoo for sourcing the wonderfully soft Johnstons scarf visible in today's fit:

I prefer your old overcoat stances than new ones gentleman

Thanks. It's something of an acquired taste I think, but I like it too. It's Ede & Ravenscroft, MTM, from a handful of years ago. I believe the fabric was from an earlier incarnation of Dormeuil's Royal 12 book; it had loads of these really jazzy tramline stripes (and tramline checks!) in it back then. I think Dormeuil have toned it down a bit since then.

ist
that suit is hot
do you have a full length shot?
i just got a plen plaid but it's a mid gray... i'd kill for a blue like yours
:slayer:

The fabric of this tie is just as attractive as is the rich color and pattern of the plaid
The shoes look comfortable. A nice, tasteful touch to the whole outfit.
The patterns of the tie, shirt, suit, and pocket square clash. But the brown in the tie and shoes stabilize things and pull it all together. It is like driving a car too close to the edge of cliff without falling off. Very adventuresome.

Whoa, this made me think that Victor had come back.
Even though all the pieces are trying to get my attention, it turns out to be great together, a well balanced fit. The tie, shirt and suit are all lovely, I would like to wear them myself.

Thank you, gentlemen!:bigstar:
