There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Suit: MTM by a local tailor.
Shirt: Clarke and Dawe, Belfast Northern Ireland
    Tie: BB
    Links: Thomas Pink
PS: purchased at VanBoven's (Ann Arbor) centuries ago

As I continue to slim down, all my coats have too much material in the shoulder blade area. For the record, I never unbutton the coat sleeves in public. :embar:

Grey suit, brown wool tie and a navy blue overcoat.

    Apologies for the poor quality.

Is this the answer when concerned parents ask how a teacher can afford his sartorial hobbies? :)

The way you placed your gloves looks creepy. Otherwise fine.

This is a 200% improvement on the sweater/shirt/tie fit from the other day. Pocket square is a little busy but otherwise well done.

Have to agree here. It's not sprezz, it just looks silly - that pocket is too small to put gloves in. It draws attention away from what is otherwise a fine ensemble.

MTM by a local tailor? How does a local, independant (I'm assuming) tailor make "made to measure" garments? [IMG]
If he has a factory make them, I'd understand that, but if he has a team of in-house tailors making the suits, wouldn't it be almost just as easy to cut the suits to fit each customer perfectly?

edit: it fits you very well, regardless!

The tailor, Cicchini, in Birmingham, MIchigan, calls such a suit "bespoke". They have rolls and rolls of material from which to choose. IThe "cut" is made elsewhere; their team of tailors assemble it and do the finishing touches. In reality, it is MTM. Website: www.cicchinicustomclothier.com

Jeans look great! I've been thinking about purchasing some 501s. How do they fit? Are they snug?

    Lastly, how much?

Cheers, pretty much all of my collars are the cutaway collar, but with the higher collar option. This comes with a 2 button closure but I just email them after and change it 1 button, which they are more than happy to oblige with.

    Charlie, good job.

Are you the only non-pol in Canberra wearing coat and tie?

Thanks. There are plenty of others in Canberra that wear coat and ties also, being the capital with all the politicians means there are tens of thousands of public servants as well, working for the various gov depts. It's just that most of them look like crap is all. FWIW, I'm not a public servant but like most private enterprise in Canberra, a lot of my clients in my 9-5 are.
