the first pic made the fit look really monochromatic. But with the second picture, the color and pattern matching stands out. very crisp and extra credit for a gorgeous tie dimple.

The sleeves are the same, just one shirt sleeve got hiked up. This seems to be common when using this pose. The lapels are also fine, I just didn't fix them and one went kinda flat.

Not my favorite shirt, but the color was right and it was clean.

The biggest problem with this suit is that the right shoulder has a divot, not the left, just the right. Don't really know why.

Some of my observation:

You have a bigger head relative to your shoulders. By deemphasizing your shoulders (i.e., sticking with non-padded jackets) you are creating a visually "block" look. Also, you appear to have a short neck. This further enhances the rectangular block look. I believe all this is contributing to your looking much shorter than you actually are.

A tie in a non-blue color (such as bright red, bright orange) would cinch the outfit.

+1 On both counts. Coat is great.

^What material is the tie? The close up photo really shows how nice this is.

I think in part it is due (in small part) to the camera angle. I will try to adjust the camera height to verify. However, I have big hips and its hard to conceal. I have tried and still have a few things that I haven't purged with a more structured shoulder but it feels almost caricature like to me when I wear them.

Thanks, yeah I can't seem to get decent pics at a distance in my office under the fluorescent lights.

Extended shoulders don't necessarily mean more structured. That being said, it's probably hard to achieve via RTW.

Do you have a photo example of what you are describing? When I think of extended shoulder - I thought you needed more structure (or padding) to account for the extension of the sleevecap - if that makes sense.

Trini, I totally agree with NDW on this one. He is who he is. I am bigger too so can relate with the point NDW is making. Sometimes, it is what it is. IMHO, going with an extended shoulder beyond what he has today will rather throw his proportions off.

Both jacket and pants fit pretty well, based on his physical proportions.
