'Swagga like us pretty hot"....even though I'm not a TI fan, IMO he had the best lines and flow.

Let's see:

Young Jeezy- Put On (Remix)
Normally I'm not a huge Jeezy fan but I am a sucker for big synths when he does it right and Hova's verse is solid.

Andre Nickatina- A-Yo (feat. San Quinn)
Listen to the chorus once and try not to get it stuck in your head.

Bun B- Get Throwed (feat. Pimp C, Z-Ro, Young Jeezy, and Jay Z)
Just look at the artists on this thing. Regular version is a good party mood song, chopped one is awesome for smokin'

Bun B- Pushin' (feat. Scarface and Jeezy)
Little more lyrical, less bangin'. Jeezy's verse is weak but Scarface and Bun more than make up for it.

Trae- Cadillac
Play this all the way up on a good sub and your notion of bass will be redefined.

HELL YES. Devin is the dude man. Good to see somebody else ***** with H-town stuff. "Doobie Ashtray" is one of the best rap songs ever produced in my estimation. Lil Keke is rarely mind-blowing but when you consider how many fuckin screw tapes he spit on and the fact that he still pumps stuff out his consistency is pretty impressive. His flow on Pimp Tha Pen is one of my favorites. While we're sharin' the love for the city of syrup, allow me to present one of her greatest sons: "Everyday, Samethang" by Z-Ro. If you like hip hop I imagine you'll like this song. For me this is about as good as it gets in rap, both deft delivery and soulful lyrics:

I usually dislike rap; however, I downloaded the soundtrack to the series "The Wire" and I love the rap tracks on it. I don't like it so much for the music itself; rather, the stigma attached to it.

"On the blocks of B-more we say 'A-YO"

Love it!

I have to check that Z-RO track out....he tends to shine on mix-tapes, and not for radio singles.

I still can't believe most people sleep on Devin, then turn around and claim nothing creative comes out of the South....he's been around for a minute, and is still underrated.

Swagga like us is a sad song in that you have Lil wayne, Jay Z, Jeezy and Kanye and all their verses suck balls.

Listening today to vintage Wu Tang and Method Man. Method Man does not get enough props for his flow, the guy is sick. It was good listening to some classic Ol' Dirty Bastard verses!

I didn't tink Jay's was too horrendous, but I agree that Kanye's and Lil Waynes was nothing to write home about. Like I said before, it caught me off-guard to think T.I. would actually have the best lines.

Truth be told, it's the hook and beat that actually make the song.
