Aside from a few notes on his wardrobe work for films, there isn't much on the various clothing boards about this revered and legendary tailor. I suppose that isn't unusual since he's been dead for a while and I don't believe anybody took over his business. But still...! That's no way to treat a legend.
Anyway, I had a stroke of luck this morning and found a blue cashmere blazer tailored by Stewart--don't know exactly when since the writing on the label has really faded. It's a wonderful piece. Light yet structured and extremely comfortable--this in spite of the rather stout cloth. I'll post pictures in a day or two when I get back home, but I was wondering if anybody had any stories to tell. I believe Chris Despos did some work with Stewart. Perhaps he can chime in if he gets a chance.

I too have a sportcoat by Stewart. It's a wonderful check/plaid in what I think is cashmere. I'll try to post some pictures too if this thread survives.
