Help me decide Turnbull & Asser v Ascot Chang

i am hoping to get some new bespoke shirts and i want to go to one of the above makers. any recommendations / preferences and why?

ive yet to own anything from ascot chang so i guess im a bit biased...but ive never been less than very pleased with any of my T&A offerings. Some of my favorite shirts.

I use both, but I mostly use AC. You should be able to get the fit you want from either, but expect it to take multiple trial shirts.

AC is far more consistent and reliable than T&A, and they do exactly what you want. T&A may or may not do what you want, and some of their shirts can be finished poorly. If finish work is important, choose AC.

AC has more fabric choices, but T&A fabrics are more or less exclusive to them, and you won't find anything similar at AC. If you like T&A fabric, choose them.

No reason you can't use both.

thanks, i have been very happy with the rtw i have from AC i feel like thats where i am leaning towards

How exclusive is exclusive? I hear kiton says the same thing.

I love T&A collars and some of their exclusive fabrics are awesome. If they charged their London prices in NYC (instead of marking them up 100%), I'd go with them.

whats the average price for a bespoke shirt @ T&A in ny these days, and whats the minimum order?
