Have you ever used a tie clip as a paperclip?

I don't deal with paper much these days, having converted to a digital lifestyle, but I was just thinking the other day that some of my tie clips could be used as paperclips. If only I had some paper around to try it out on.

A sales associate in the Madison BB store use to use a paper clip as a tie clip. I thought it was very interesting at the time.

No, but I have used a tie clip as a roach clip when I was younger.

+1. Actually, a mens clothier near where I live was selling oversized, sterling silver paperclips for use as money clips. They looked quite nice.
