I know Harris tweed jackets aren't hard to come by, but if you're looking for something beyond a barelycorn, or a light tan/gray herringbone you have to do a bit of digging,
I know I've been searching for a decent dark brown herringbone HT jacket for years without success.

I'm a bit of a sucker for Harris Tweeds with multicolored checks and odd patterns (like these from vintage whistles blog:http://vintagewhistles.blogspot.com/2011/02/harris-tweed-fabric-patterns-part-4.html)
these are a couple I've picked up that don't fit.

1)
The pattern on this is fantastic, a very rough medium greenish brown herringbone with red, yellow, green and blue checks.

It's a Harris Tweed and made for Marks and Spencer.
I bought it off of ebay.co.uk, the seller said it was NWOT, I'm a bit skeptical of that in general, but it certainly looks like it was never worn.
(pockets were still sewn shut etc etc).
2 button, darted, side vent, nice leather buttons and a throat latch that buttons to the inside of the coat when not in use.

Tagged a 40 small, but I think it fits a bit big for a 40, and more like a regular.
chest: 21 3/4"
shoulder: 19"
sleeves: 25"
botton of collar to hem down the back: 30 1/2"

asking $80 shipped conus

2)

This jacket is more structured and british cut, with a high three button stance(had this fit me I was thinking of trying to press it inot a 3-roll-2)
I think Tweedy Don describes these as "Anglophile tweeds" and I like that expression so I'm gong to steal it.

The pattern on this one is a rough, very busy mixture of colors, it looks dark green and gray from afar.

Three button front, side vent

I think this is about around a 38 R

20 1/2" across the chest
17-17 1/2" across the shoulders
24 1/2" sleeves
29 3/4" bottom of collar to hem
