My girlfriend and I recently suffered though 'House of Flying Daggers', which struck me as a chick-flick marketed as a guy movie. You think you'll be getting an artistic, CGI-enhanced martial arts action film, and you get a schlocky romantic melodrama instead. Beautiful-looking film, though.

I liked House of Flying Daggers (and it's predecessor Crouching Tiger) but those Chinese Martial Arts/Love story movies are very melodramatic.

Dorothy Parker's humor was certainly cynical and not very female.

When I think of male humor I tend to think of something really crass like that awful Jackass.

You need to give Johnny Knoxville a chance! I recommend you watch The Ringer.

Hey, maybe I am spoilt but my wife is the one who is more in to guy/low brow humour of the two of us (she made me watch Jackass as well as many John Waters films). For crude humour I have to say it again, look for Troma's productions. Edit: I guess I am a little weird

Edit 2: I am ashamed to say that Jackass was entertaining in a VERY low brow-sort of way. Sort of makes you want to watch some 1920's expressionist cinema to cleanse yourself afterwards

Oh man, I totally forgot about Duckman. I used to watch that on USA all the time. A truly great show.

The original Toxic Avenger and The Class of Nukem High are the definite standouts.

"You said you were gonna take me to a David Bowie concert. *He's* not David Bowie...."

As far as more recent stuff, Robot Chicken comes to mind.

And then, there is the king of my guilty pleasures--The Adventures of Ford Fairlane.

tromeo and juliet was pretty funny, but i forgot all about ford fairlane - that film is absolutely quality "un...*******...believable" - "talking with zuzu was like masturbating with a cheese grater" - "******** him, oooooh" - "my guitar, i found my guitar, it's all scratched up, it's all scratched up" - "what? you didn't think we'd kill a ******* koala bear did you?" rapier wit par excellence.
