Gum on the soles

So I was walking about the town in my AEs last night, and managed to step on an epic-sized wad of chewing gum.

Is there ANY way to get it off the leather soles? Luckily it's only on the bottom and I didn't get any creeping up the side, but there's an unsightly 3 inch by 2 inch black gob on the bottom.

Some people find it annoying when their shoes stick to the floor whilst walking.

Easy... I misread it. I thought it was a stain on the bottom that wasnt still sticky. Though I didnt think getting wet gum off the bottom of a shoe needed much help.. I just use the drag on cement technique.

Place the shoe inside a plastic bag and then place in the freezer.

Maybe you should hold off on making nasty comments until you have all of the information. Just a thought.
