Just thought that some people might like to save on duty. (Won't help me, though. I'm in Canada.)

Also, would the price include shoe trees?

hey..
i'm sure these shoes can be ordered from any CJ location..
i'm not involved in the F fit buy as too narrow for me...but best of luck!

Can you join in?

You can choose "G" for yourself, and join in--we just need six people who will choose F OR G, doesn't matter which fitting, we can go 3 "F"'s and 3 "G"s.

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean . . .

perhaps i have not been clear. candj charge a large premium to have a shoe they normally only make in a e for example made up into an f.

however, we can avoid this by purchasing 6 or more of the same fit. we need 6 f's or 6 g's of one shoe in one colour BUT any size. this is my understanding of how c and j works for custom orders.

i do not think we can choose 3 f's and 3 g's, or 1 f, 1 e, 1g etc - BUT..i hope i am wrong..! perhaps someone can check with a cand j store. i have already been in, and i was told we need 6 of the same width in any size..
i did not ask if we could have different colours, maybe we can but i'm not sure

hey guys sorry, i should have gone through the entire thread before posting. that is really cool news we only need 6 of the same leather/model - any size/fitting..much easier for a group buy! from what i understand you guys are close to cj belgrave..i'm sorry but i'm not after a suede toe cap shoe..

.. up for the other ones i posted but not that one.. anyone else think we should have a dedicated thread to C&J group buys of all sizes and lasts?! i think we're missing the chance to get our shoes made up as only people interested in f or g will read the thread..but in fact this group buy good for all sizes and widths

I'm for that. Either we find some way to rename this thread or we start a new one. Can we specify the last? (Not that I know what C&J last fits me best.)

Handgrade lasts are usually in 337, the one reserved for handgrade.

We are two away from something -- either suede Belgrave or brown calf Lowdnes. Since we are getting close on something, let's discuss fitting. I wear a NB 10.5 EE, which is pretty close to a perfect fit. In grown up shoes, I have a pair of Tricker's in a UK10 5 fitting on the 6038 last that took some time to beat into shape. This: http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?ui...7099&topic=297 says 6038 runs narrow

sizeadvisors.com says I should take a 9.5F in last 337, but my foot is wider and girthier (but not longer) than the comparison foot (and only one reference point): Length Ball girth Ball width Heel width Heel girth Instep girth 17\t280mm\t250mm\t110mm\t75mm\t340mm\t250mm You\t279mm\t266mm\t114mm\t68mm\t355mm\t254mm Here's a comparison to a great fit in 337 10E: \tLength\tBall girth\tBall width\tHeel width\tHeel girth\tInstep girth 118\t282mm\t262mm\t100mm\t62mm\t345mm\t252mm You\t279mm\t266mm\t114mm\t68mm\t355mm\t254mm So I'm thinking 10F would work. I've got a wide ball, high arch, high instep, and normal heels. Thoughts?
