GS guidance is typically same as your Barrie last, so 9 is probably your size. I've never worn Alden so I don't have personal experience there.
@Eli Curt Definitely check with GS though, as a minority of us have to size up a half size from Barrie.

I have normal feet, except I have high arches. Because of this, I pronate, which means I have difficulty fitting loafers with low vamps like Alden's Aberdeen last as an example.

I would reach out to GS, as you may want to consider an E width for a high instep.

while quite a few of us here can offer sizing advice, being we have found OUR size, the definitive answer to sizing is GS themselves. The guys at GS are SUPER helpful and knowledgable, and will do what it takes to make sure one is fitted correctly. ALWAYS reach out to them for help, it's worth it. (Wyatt and Josh, hope you don't mind me putting in a plug)

Dune Travellers in various lighting.
The first picture is the most accurate representation of what I see.

Man, that's some vinyl collection! Nice shoes, too. ;)

thanks! couple weekends ago i took the long procrastinated step of alphabetizing it all. took way longer than i thought it would. one of the small joys of WFH the past several months is being able to listen to records while i work.

Nice. My wife sees me on the shoe/boot forum, later, she sees me on the stereo/vinyl forum... she thinks I am the only one out there with BOTH obsessions. I knew there were more like me!
