GS guidance is typically same as your Barrie last, so 9 is probably your size. I've never worn Alden so I don't have personal experience there.

I have normal feet, except I have high arches. Because of this, I pronate, which means I have difficulty fitting loafers with low vamps like Alden's Aberdeen last as an example.

I would reach out to GS, as you may want to consider an E width for a high instep.

while quite a few of us here can offer sizing advice, being we have found OUR size, the definitive answer to sizing is GS themselves. The guys at GS are SUPER helpful and knowledgable, and will do what it takes to make sure one is fitted correctly. ALWAYS reach out to them for help, it's worth it.
