Good Pizza in LA - Any Suggestions?

it's nice to look at and very different when it comes to motif, but I was not thrilled with the pizza at all.

It's a great location, cool place, but not stunning pizza. Just my 2 cents.

There's a pizza place called Barri's on 3rd St by the Beverly Center that's supposed to be open until 4AM (this is incredible for LA, which tends to close early for such a huge city). I'll give it a shot and report back.

If you are looking for truly Italian Pizza....it doesn't get any better than this! The Rapini, Cherry tomatoe, anchovie, olive & chili is the best since Castelina in Chianti. Add a little Negroamaro and the best service anywhere....forgive me..if I leave right now I will be there before closing.

My favorite in LA by a pretty good margin, although I only ate there once. Iron chef Mario Batali is the co-owner I believe. Mozza and Flour+Water in SF are my two favorite pizza destinations right now.

Just had some Tomato Pie pizza. Tried their specialty - thin square crust completed topped with tomato paste and a sprinkling of Parmesan - damned good. Nice people in the place. Not a restaurant spot, it's more to-go. I liked it a lot. BTW, where is Vitos ?

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Lamonica's next to UCLA. It doesn't hold a candle to legit NYC pizza, but for LA, it's pretty good.

I hated Lamonica's. I am really into Garage Pizza in silver lake right now but I also want to try Pizzeria Mozza and Tomato Pie.
