  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

Does anyone from the DFW area know where one can find good, high quality clothing fabrics (cottons, wools, silks, etc.)? I am interested in a place that might stock bolts of fabric for both men and women.

Thanks in advance.

This brings back good old memories. I went to college in Dallas back in 68 and 69. I got some of my early custom trousers from a Mexican tailor located downtown. He charged $30-35 for wool gabs.
He's now dead and the building is gone. Just having some flashbacks

In for this too. The only places that I know carry decent cloth are the higher end tailors, whom won't sell fabric alone.

Kay Fabric in Richardson

Richard Brooks at Preston Center

There is another place on the service road off of the George Bush in Plano. It is relatively new and I don't recall the name.
