^ Ugh! A grey suede double monk....my GF would kill me as I already have two other grey suede shoes (a captoe and wingtip). Grey suede is my weakness! I would want the Simpson last

I might be encouraged into a dark brown suede double monk in the Simpson last. The same shoe Steve currently has in stock, just not in my size . This might not be mto worthy though since he has them in stock and could wait for a restock in the fall.

Yes, I was thinking exactly what you suggested with a slight change: navy calf in (1) the captoe, (2) inside the brogeuing around the heel and (3) possibly inside the "u" around the laces (I am concerned that adding this calf near the laces -- three spots of navy calf -- may be too busy, but I am thinking having the navy calf in these three spots would be fine). Grey suede would be in the body - everywhere where the navy calf is not. And would it be possible to have the holes in the brogueing around at the cap, around the heel and the laces shoe the grey suede underneath?

I am getting excited about this and hope others will too.

Steve and I want to see if theres interest in doing this tassel loafer in burgundy calf.
I think it would be a perfect color instead of a dark brown for the tassel loafer.

3 spots of calf will be fine IMO. tons of brown-cream spectators have that pattern.

No, unfortunately they aren't Carmina. One is a Cole Haan and the other is a Kenneth Cole - both acquired before I joined this forum.
