What kind of turnaround time is involved with a GMTO from G&G and are wide fittings available?

I would assume you could order a wide size, since it is still MTO. But I could be wrong...

12-16 weeks and yes wide fittings are available.

Guys,

I am not impressed with the hatch grain leather. I had a bad experience with shoes in hatch grain leather from different makers. The finish was peeling off even before I wore shoes. I know G&G refinishes their hatch grain leather but I would rather not risk it.

I am interested in other grain leathers such as pin grain, alpine grain or highland grain.

Was it AS that was having the hatch grain problems as well? You know, I was worried about that too, but it just looks so damn nice.

Anyone with hatch grain that can comment on GG's hatch grain in comparison to their normal crust leather? Does it crease more, is it stiffer?

I have hatch grain Sinatras from Nick's mto last year. Mine still look great, tho I would describe the leather as a little stiffer than the usual calf would be. Just a little.
