Sold - thanks! This is a old Banana Republic vest from their socialite African safari era, before they became a middle-class business casual store. My guess is that dates it from the early-to-mid 1980s. It's a great weathered leather with quilted lining, seven front pockets with various closures, and a rear reach-through pocket that I don't really understand (but is worth a thumbs-up). It's a size small, and the chest measures 19" armpit to armpit & the length is 26.5" neck to waist. I'm asking $35 shipped to the US (+$3 to Canada, +$8 international) and my paypal address is [email protected]. I always ship stuff the day after payment clears, so you'll get it really quickly. I like it and it would fit me well but I don't think I would be able to pull it off outside of Gyeongju, Teotihuacan or downtown Phnom Penh. Luckily, I'll be at two out of three within 6 months. If no one else snatches it by the time I get up tomorrow afternoon, I will probably buy it unless I win a few ebay auctions in the mean time. edit: What is it shoulder to shoulder?
