I sold this sweater to a forum member of long-standing, but it runs larger than he (and I) expected, so I'm listing it for him. The 48 ran true to size, so I didn't think there would be any problem.

Anyway, tagged EU52 but fits more like an EU54 if you want it loose, or an EU56 if you want it fitted. These are really fantastic sweaters. Piacenza is one of the world's oldest family owned companies, founded in 1733, 11th generation blah blah blah, read more here: http://www.piacenza1733.it/inglese/default.html. Chris Depos (the tailor) has a line on his website saying "Truly the finest cashmere and camel hair you will ever find!". It is right up there with the best of the best, and this is a nice thick casual sweater.

Flat measurements without stretching (it's a knit, so measurements are different than with tailored clothing): length 30" from top of collar, sleeve length 28", shoulders across 18", chest (right under armhole) 25"

Forgive my ignorance. EU56 is equivalent to US 46, yes?

Also, what is the price?

Thanks,
Matt

Thanks for adding the measurements. Unfortunately they confirm that this sweater will be too small for me.
