The weather's been glorious recently. Bright sunshine, and almost 20C when in the sunlight, so...

Hmmmm... SF will probably tell me that the pattern in the tie and shirt are too close in scale... Maybe a sockless, knit tie alternate will improve my odds...

It was cold, rainy, and raw when I took these pics yesterday, and I felt pretty silly in my silk/linen SC.

Apart from being out of the running, thematically, I think that I don't look SO bad - but as always, you're the judges on that one.

Still a little cold for loafers without socks, but I'm not a *****, unlike UC.

Should've postponed this another week or two, I think alot of people had to tone the "spring-ness" down because it's ******* cold and ****** in alot of places still. Wish it felt like spring here... but alas. MBreinin and acecow brought the spring fo sho!

Well, I guess the folks in cold climates can bring it for the "Summer Challenge." I think it was a tad early, especially considering the cold front that moved through this US this week. Still, it was 82 down here and the AC was pumping.

No offense to the other posters, but I can't understand why MoK's fit is not in the lead here. Everything about it says spring, without being too obvious. Well done. Acecow, that looks more like a summer fit to me, and coat looks too small for you.

Really wanted to partake, even picked out some "spring-y" attire, but when the NY1 temp said 29 as I was getting dressed, I just threw on some jeans, a hoodie and tee and my peacoat. Seemed like what the long week called for to bring it to a close. Walking to work sometimes calls for function over fashion. Looking fwd to next week....btw, MOK's fit is great.

His hacking pockets are really bringing his jacket down. I mean they're hurting his jacket proportions a fair bit. The second pic looks great though.

I think I'm going to sit this one out and not vote.

I agree. The hacking pockets and single button are all highlighting his (smaller, but still present) belly. The cut just isn't flattering. Plus, the tie and suit are too close in tone, and the pocket square is sort of jarring against the rest of the almost-monochrome look.
