FRIDAY CHALLENGE - HOLIDAY CHALLENGE 2016

Alright. Rules are pretty easy for this one. You wear a holidays compatible outfit and post it before January 3rd (I'll let this one go for two weeks because I assume some people actually have lives outside of SF). Since this is the classic side of the forum, the outfits should fit within the CM spectrum. I.e. If it would fit in any of the WAYWRN threads of this side of the forum it's ok. I'll accept very thing that's in the spirit of the challenge and let the votes settle if it's sufficiently cheery. So, bring on the tartans, the red and the green, your Kwanzaa robes or your Hanukkah best.

What I am wearing to comfortably start the holidays

I unfortunately wasn't able to get a proper fitpic, but this is what I wore today together with black wool pants and Dr Martens Arthur

What I wore to our friends' Christmas party last night, so I guess it's my holiday entry. I contemplated wearing my tuxedo, but my parents were with us and dressed relatively casually. Then one of my buddies showed up in his tuxedo and I was filled with regret...

And of course, it wouldn't be Christmas without the socks!

Spent christmas in the Berner Alpen in Switzerland (in a village called Mürren, famous because it was the location for the Bondmovie On Her Majesty's Secret Service). I'm shamelessly using the scenery overlooking the Lauterbrunnen valley to enhance my fit. But it was what I actually wore for christmas eve, lots of greens and reds.
