i also agree with InStitches, = challenge fits only, well that's what i had assumed. hence posting a first time fit just for the challenge. thought others would do the same.

and as F.M knows, i have a ton of old odd fits to choose from. but at least tried something new.

so, what's the next one?

Ha! I have little patience for nonsense, so I doubt I would prosper in politics, Monkey. Clags and Stitchy know what I'm talking about. The Aussie bloc distorted the "true" results and Butler's posts are popular (whether or not, IMO, they are actually the best example of the challenge parameters). So, to restate my thesis: The Aussie solidarity stole the win from Butler, but that would have happened with multivoting, too.

To be clear, nabilmust's victory is just as valid as any other. I wonder what the results would be if we had his country's mandatory voting, though!

every victory is valid. i dont care if you go to the street and pay 50 people to sign up for SF and vote for you. a win is a win.

i do not however think either mutli or single voting is better. just different. if the people prefer multi, let them have it. why not?

I propose that the next one be a FU jacket challenge.

Similar rules:

• shirt and tie are a must, as is some form of trousers;
• the jacket can be an odd jacket or, if feeling slightly ballsy, as a full FU suit ensemble (this is not compulsory, of course).

Added conditions, sussed from from the general kvetching, whining, et al:

• fit must be from the challenge week (no archived fits);
• multi-voting will be allowed;
• don't tell your friends that you put up a fitpic for a Friday Challenge

Due to the time difference, I'll use the same time-frames as this challenge - Deadline for submission of pics in Sunday Feb 16, 09.00 CET (=UTC+1).

Voting ends 48 hours after the deadline for submissions.

Apologies for the feathers I've ruffled and the weekend I've ruined for some of you by entering this challenge - and casually mentioning my entry to my friends.

It was a stark reminder of sage advice I had received before to stay away from this neck of the woods. I rarely, if ever, concern myself with the aspersions cast on me on the internet -- but it disheartens me that the same broad stroke has painted others, whom I have the privilege of calling my friends, in similar distasteful light. This will be the last of such challenges I will be taking part in and wish you iGents all the best for the next one and many others to come.

Thanks must go out to those who voted for me, and an even more special note of appreciation for those with kind words.
