Kanye West at Cifonelli for his wedding suit.

There is also this picture of Lorenzo Cifonelli doing a jacket for a 4 years old customer.

SuitSupply and Boggi are better discussed here:

That is no feather in the Cifo hat if taken from the perspective of decency and class.
Not that I blame them for taking his order.
    Maybe it is just that.
I hope it is not a harbinger of things to come.

Will he also have the commission for the suit of the divorce proceedings?

If that ia a 4yr old family member or friend(or pseudo client favor), fine, but if that is just some wealthy person's order at full price then what a bloody idiot.
Again, not that they shouldn't take the order and part that fool from some of their money.
At least in this case there is not some possible implication to appeal to the masses.
By the time the adjustment fitting comes around you might need to cut a new pattern.

This just in: Bespoke shoes scandal claims scalp of Hollande aide!

Paris (AFP) - A close advisor to Francois Hollande resigned on Friday after allegations about a conflict of interest and his extravagant lifestyle dealt a fresh blow to the beleaguered French president.

In a statement to AFP, senior political advisor Aquilino Morelle, 51, said he was stepping down but denied any wrongdoing in a scandal that has put the spotlight on his collection of 30 pairs of bespoke shoes.

"I have decided to put an end to my duties as an advisor to the presidency of the republic... to be entirely free to respond to these attacks," Morelle said.

I have been corresponding with Romain to make an appointment to get suited when I come to Paris in October. Can't wait to meet him.

^you are in good hands Dandy Wonka. I'm seeing Lorenzo on Monday to pick up some suits and to order something new, likely on the more fashion forward end of the Cifonelli range like the yak jacket.

    Cool Agjiff !
Cifonelli have to deal with Tibetan families and wait a long time to buy this awesome fabric.

Romain is a very sweet guy !

That Yak jacket is exceptionally cool. Though not many opportunities to wear it here in Oz. Plus it would be way too weird for the locals to cope with as well.

Keep us informed about your purchases (and some shots would be great).

Yeah, I might ask Lorenzo to notch the lapel to make it more wearable, but I don't know how that affects other aspects of the jacket. I think means I will lose a buttonhole. Will find out on Monday.

These are terrible pictures, but as I get ready for date night with the wife I wanted to post smoke quick shots of one aspect of what makes Cifonelli unique. The front of the jacket is incredibly clean. There is no drape. The arm holes are high and tiny. The chest fits to the skin and is slightly turned in. But it is comfortable and that is because of the drape in the back. You can see the symmetrical folds close to the arms. Those provide freedom of movement. So you have something that looks form-fitting and sculpted, but is comfortable and not restrictive.

Again, poor quality photos but I hope the essence still comes across.

The lapel points look higher than they actually are due to the camera angle, but this is aggressively styled and buttons at the bottom row:

Maybe not "tailoring", but the limosine briefcase by Moynat is completely made by hand and is a good example of the French style and workmanship that you see throughout this thread: attention to detail, high-quality materials, precision, and modern variations on classical forms and shapes:
