Have you guys noticed any change this year in your dress? For example, I didn't mean to, but I kind of embraced the loose vacation vibe when I went to Italy. Flowy trousers, slip ons, belted jackets, etc. As soon as I get home from work, I find myself in drawstring pants and slippers or espadrilles. Also, and maybe because of the season, I'm starting to wear long coats with practically everything.

This is not meant to be an insult but I kinda dressed like an EG basic boy meets Swedish minimalism for most of 2016 and into early 2017. Didn't have too many out-there pieces and was trying to figure out how to reincorporate a Kapital ring coat into my wardrobe. I took a trip to Japan in August and that inspired me to make Kapital the foundation of my wardrobe, most of the clothes I own are clothes that make me happy. I noticed a marked transition from slimmer, fitted clothes into fuller, goofier silhouettes and outrageous patterns.

For the first time in 15 years I'm about to incorporate black pebble grain derby shoes into my wardrobe with more simple tonal, monochromatic looks. (Inspired by my trip to Rome, Florence and London). Looking to certain elements of the 80's for inspiration (e.g. somewhat fuller cut solid color shirt with collar, rounded toe shoes). On the very casual side, my visit to Santa Fe, Taos and Las Vegas, NM., rekindled my affection for Native American design and accessories mixed with 60's Southwest/Western. Wearing vintage sandcast Navajo and ranch buckles with my denim as well as a silver cuff.

I certainly think I've embraced more of a loose/anti-fit look into what I wear. Maybe not in everything I post, but especially this summer going with some Monitaly easy pants and a guayabera or eidos kurta. Seems like there are more posters doing the same.

For someone with fat thighs, I really enjoy the re-embracement of pleats.
