Excellent choice! I have a nearly identical looking fabric that was made when I was in HK. One of my favorites. Not sure where the fabric originated. I opted for no placket. I dig the stitching on yours.

Thanks, bubala...it's a version of the collar that Whittaker wears himself.

This is the sample. I have six others in queue from the first order that are waiting on this one to have the pattern finalized. I'll wear it a bit, and see Whittaker again in the Spring, and place another order for six more but in Grasmere or DJ Anderson.

Assuming that I'm happy after I try it on, which I haven't yet...but, the initial inspection shows none of the things that annoyed a couple of the guys who decided to stop using Dege.

Sorry for the late reply. I'm in South Korea now and it got them made by Hahn's Custom Tailors.

nice collar. Unfused i will assume.
there is an odd mispressing at the top of the center placket.
also surpised that they sew the center placket in the American style.
Most English shirtmakers, move the stitch line closer to the buttonholes.

I noticed that as well.
vox, did you ask for it specifically, or it's Dege's default placket style?
