Hello gentlemen of SF.
I do own a lot of boe ties, mainly from Italian fashion houses like D&G etc.
However, I am looking to buy my first proper black satin bow tie to wear with a proper black tie attire.
It definitely has to be self tie and my search Si far has lead me to Turnbull & Asser in the UK and fort belvedere in the US.

Any feedback regarding these 2 choices? Any other suggestions?

I, and many others here, very much like ties from Sam Hober. They make theirs to order from the customer's neck measurement and allow them to specify other dimensions of their ties. They offer two lines of satin silk bowties (solid and English; I'm not clear on the distinction, other than about $ 5 in price, between them).
