1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Looking at the other drinking threads, we should have a specific beer thread. There are so many types, brands, styles and differences in quality... it's like having a favorite clothes thread with everything lumped into one.

Besides, drinks are drinks, beers are beers. You can drink them both, but I believe there is a distinction.

Just a few, but there are more...

    Delirium Noel and Tremens
    Rochefort Trappist
    Piraat (strong and light)
    Scaldis
Troges Mad Elf Ale (seasonal, but awesome)
Dogfish Head IPA for the Hops (do they make bad beer?)
Yuengling (because it's the best of the cheap beers and because of the legend it had when I lived in New England where I couldn't get it for so long)

I searched, but didn't see it. Beer is a popular term.

I recently discovered this brewery and I love all their beers. I had their triple recently and it's awesome.

+1 on Bell's (from Kalamazoo Brewing Company, just down the road)

On a cold night by the fire, Bell's Expedition Stout is indescribably perfect.

Hard to beat Guinness. I don't mind a cheap light beer (Coors Light especially) on those hot summer days, although a G&T is ifnitnitely better.
