The picture appears to be a grey cashmere blazer but when I click the link it takes me to the pair of white Zegna pants I purchased. Is it working for others?

It’s authentic, But it’s not a blazer. It’s an orphaned suit jacket. It can still work though.

I based my opinion strictly on the fabric, which looks like Birdseye. I wasn’t aware EZ denoted that on the label.

Either way, it can certainly work as a sport coat.

It's a shame that ebay will do nothing about this. He's already sold quite a few items.

Unfortunately eBay doesn't really seem to care at all about stuff like this. I've reported quite a few sellers and have never seen anything happening to anybody.

I really hate people taking advantage of other people so much.

I also hate when people are intentionally mislabeling products (like for example calling 3rd party items with Loro Piana / Zegna fabric Loro Piana / Zegna mainline items) but once again eBay doesn't care about those things at all.

I see this too and it’s quite annoying. Either the seller is being willfully deceitful or they just don't know. If the latter, then they shouldn’t even be doing it in the first place. As a merchant, one has a duty to represent the merchandise accurately and sometimes it means doing some homework.

Amazon has just announced that they've established a new "Counterfeit Crimes Unit" (Article).

Maybe eBay and others will now follow suit but I guess it's too costly and not worth it if you're mostly dealing with C2C and can't really punish abusers as as much as you can in B2C.
