Holy wow this is a great thread. Glad it's not dinner time. Ok, this dog is actually a komondor, which is a huge Hungarian guard muppet. Seriously bad tempered, seriously impossible to take seriously. Here's a puli, also known as a rasta dog (to me):

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the "Flamboyant Cuttlefish" (which I just learned about). Notice the color changes...

Indeed, it would, but I would be compelled to simply taxidermy it. It would be a dourly colored gem within a glass case. I believe it's called Cantor's giant softshell turtle, and is very rare. It apparently can grown up to 6 feet long.

"Frogs sprout claws on demand"
WASHINGTON - At least 11 species of African frogs carry a built-in concealed weapon "” they can sprout claws on demand to fight off attackers, U.S. researchers reported on Monday.

When threatened, the frogs can puncture their own skin with sharp bones in their toes that they then use to claw their attackers, David Blackburn and colleagues at Harvard University reported.
