I think he is referring to the high level of reproductive freedom in Muslim countries.

You see, k, the point of calling out one's opponent in an argument as a Christian zealot is simply a jingoist response that seeks to avoid talking about actual issues while making the opponent out to be a brainwashed, anti-scientific, inept cult member who's views are obviously below the minimum standard that rates discussion. It's one of the grubbiest and oldest of tricks. ~ H

As I said I did not read the whole thread. I did not know where the *****, i.e. "1", comes from. If I had known that she had an Asian origin, I would not have made such comment, unless she is predominantly bound to Canadian culture or something.

I did not want to offend Christians or whatsoever. I had lived 2 years in the States, and it was very interesting that the issue of abortion was one of the major issues discussed even in presendtial election campaigns. I had noticed that many Christians are opposed to abortion and abortion is a major issue in Christianity. As a non-religious person having lived in a Muslim country for many years I had found this quite interesting. Believe me, abortion is considered very ordinary even probably in Saudi Arabia provided that it is realized within 3 months upon conceiving the baby.

Anyway, if any of you, especially the OP who is having very tough times nowadays has taken offense, I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

I am 21 and have had 4 girlfriends who were on the pill. I did not use condoms and don't feel the need to use condoms.

I don't understand people saying he should wrap up when she's on the pill and said she'd get an abortion if it came down to that.

but yeah he's sounded like quite a dick through the process.

" Western Europe you were referring to. Canada, where the woman actually lives, is a bit lower, but not low by world standards. So I think you were just making a stupid comment without having information, and are now annoyed that people called you on it. FWIW, abortion is basically illegal in Saudi, so you are wrong there as well. Basically, what Huntsman said to kwilk. And I am no Christian, far from it, and pro-choice, but very anti-stupidity.

Because this is the surest way to get ass-raped by the court. If you want to be ass-raped by the court then by all means, proceed. Not wearing a condom and trusting that the girl is on her birth control, is taking it correctly, and etc. is dumb. Like put a gun in your mouth and kill yourself dumb. A girl saying that she will have an abortion is not a legally binding contract. ********* is your responsibility not hers. Once you nut in a girl, you are half responsible for a baby, and legally you are going to be obligated to pay if the mother decides she wants your free money. End of story. Oh, and also, birth control pills don't do **** for Herpes or AIDS.

Relationships are matters of trust. Trusting someone does not absolve someone of the burden of their responsibilities, nor does it shift the burdens of those responsibilities to the other party. Trusting someone means that you have so much faith in another human being that you are willing to risk your responsibilities on their word and their capability to live up to their word, while knowing full well that if they fail, the weight falls on you. Trust is a very serious matter, and should not be given lightly because of the weight of responsibility involved. I really don't even care what she might have said, in the end he is betting his risk on trust, and there is a responsibility in choosing to give or withold that trust. Even though it's ancillary, it is un-debatable that an abortion is a medical procedure with serious risks and possibilities of complication, and a man should not lightly shrug off such a thing as if it was routine and risk-free. ~ H
