European style zipper advice request

I purchased a winter parka made in Sweden. (Fjallraven) It is a fantastic coat, but it has the European left hand zipper of which I find it difficult and tedious to use. Also, the slider, box and pin, unlike the rest of the parka, are cheaply constructed--especially when compared to the sturdy, beefy zippers found on parkas by LL Bean.

Is it possible to make the slider function right handed? Can a better, bigger, slider be attached?

I'm sure you could have the whole zipper replaced with a right-handed one if you didn't mind paying for it.

You're having trouble using a zipper?

Hopefully nothing challenging ever happens to you or you might spontaneously combust from the exertion.
