I just paid a 50% GMTO deposit for these at Skoak. They'll be ready in 4 months. I bought them because they're distinct from all my other oxfords, derbies, wholecuts and brogues.
  • 946 last
  • Style 3577
  • 360 linear Norvegese construction
  • Double leather sole
This is my 2nd pair of EB brogues from Skoak, both of which are hand-lasted. Based on my limited experience, the leather used for EBs seems less delicate than that used for G&G or JL. They are perhaps more comparable to my EGs in terms of leather thickness. In terms of overall construction, EBs seem slightly more "rustic" or perhaps more robust compared to most other high-end shoes. Then again, my small sample may not be representative of the wider production output.
