Hey guys. Want to share my thoughts on EG x Barbour Upland jacket I just received from TBB.
It is not really noticeable, but minus the massive hood it really is a classic sport coat (EG Baker jacket basically) made from waxed cotton with lots of snap buttons throughout.
As expected, the sizing is huge, I went one size down from my regular EG outerwear size and got a piece that really is fitting like a jacket, rather then outerwear. Meaning I can layer a shirt and probably a sweater underneath, but not other jacket.
In terms of insulation it is really warm due to heavy cotton lining. Wearing it indoors make me sweat.
A very nice piece overall. Love it so much!

I'd love a pic as well

Do the sport coats fit as terrible as AW18? Andover jacket, Bedford, New Bedford jacket etc.

Anyone have any insight on this? The jackets fit really weird last fall. Too wide, too boxy, too short back length, too short arms. Same this year?

I also got a NB jacket and the sizing is weird. It has got arm way too long (though the body is not too boxy. So sizing down would not work for me. Gave it to a tailor for alterations already.

Here’s how Barbour Upland sized down looks on me.

Might seem a little short on me, but I kinda like that fit.

I prefer the fit on the model as well but you could potentially make the sized down option work with slimmer pants. I think it looks a little off balanced with the fatigues. Cool jacket regardless.

I’ll leave it as is, as irl it looks ok to me.
Now I really want to check one size up.
Thanks, guys.

Yeah, now I also think I need to sz up.
Ordered that one in sz large, will compare the fit and probably will have a medium one for sale, so if anyone interested in a reasonably priced nwot upland, pm me. Will probably decide in a week
