Anybody else been able to confirm the Bloomingdale's sale this Fri for 20%.
This is the first I am hearing about it. I know they usually have their F&F sale at the end of Sept.

FWIW I was there this past week (the one on Broadway in Soho) and the dude helping me said their sale would start Sep 6. He even suggested I do a pre-sale so I could get 25% off on the PS lace-ups I was getting but sadly was only in town for a few days

Even when they hit Yoox, there were no XLs. I own the Maine guide in grey herringbone and love it. It was just the next seasn where it was redesigned and the pen pockets went away. Not like I get to wear it in Florida, but I think I paid $100 or so for it. Good for traveling.

There is more than one sale. The friends and family sale, which covers most of the store, is actually next week. I bought the red/blue/orange workshirt but cannot pick it up until 9/13. There is another sale this weekend which is $25.00 off when you spend over $100.00. I combined them both to get the workshirt for $168.00 including tax. YMMV. BTW, bloomies in SF has the Olive Cruiser which looks really nice but small and large are already gone. I would have picked it up in small but it fit me poorly when I tried it on.

Good thing I had my sales guy stash my size in the back earlier this week!

The way I understand the sale that starts Thursday is: it's $25 off from $100-249, $50 off (or something) from $250-499, and $100 off everything over $500. The store in SF has a VERY limited stock of EG currently on the floor... I think the denim tab collar shirt is in there, plus a plaid shirt or two, but I didn't check if they were workshirts, 19thC button downs, Miners, or whatever.

Also in SF, Bastille got their first delivery, but nothing really jumped out at me and I don't remember what they ordered.
