My brother told me he got engaged last weekend to his long time girlfriend. They will probably have a wedding this summer. There is no party or anything for the engagement but I presume I should send a gift but I am at loss what to give?
Any idea? Any does and don't?

I don't know if it is relevant but it may affect some customs I am not be aware of but he lives in London, England and we are Jewish.

Thanks

Or how about a nice pocket square that might help him on his way to a sartorially-acceptable groom's outfit.

I would just send a card. Maybe take them out to a restaurant the next time you see them and pay.
