Quite a bargain someone got. For a little more than a pair of "ordinary" AE dress shoes, someone got the best.

I'm afraid, I can't say with certainty whether it is American or English size 8. I presume it might be American as D-fittings are not really English standard.

These shoes are actually quite old. Look at the address on the box. Westminster works is the old Edward Green and current John Lobb factory. I believe John Lobb and Edward Green parted company sometime in 1995 or 96.

Please, someone buy these before I become impulsive and buy them myself.

Actually, Ruvke is an ebay seller - I bought my first two pairs of EG shoes from her. She has learned since then - it was like three years ago and I paid about $250 for both pairs, brand new with trees...
