William I, I like the II despite the stitching but it's totally different and can't really be compared to the EG.
I have the William I and I think that the overall appearance with the thicker double sole is somehow more "complete".

Sorry to necro this thread, but I had a quick question about the relative differences between the two shoes. I have a pair of EG Westminster's in dark oak and I'm getting impatient. I'm thinking of buying a pair of John Lobb Westminster II's in parisian brown museum calf from the US E-Store. Are these two shoes different enough in style and/or color to justify owning both? It appears that the brown museum calf is lighter, but it's hard to tell just from online photos.

Westminster because it is EG but if you come about William boots or Camborne, the answer is not the same.

JL Westminister II ? which is this- don't see it, do u mean the JL Williamif u do, I'd say one pair of DMs in that style is enough - prefer the swept twin buckle
