I am running out of space for shoes storage - and my wife is getting increasingly impatient with my purchases. So these have to go before I can continue with my shoes adventure.
Edward Green needs little introduction here. All have been used and loved, regularly cared for using Saphir products. Can offer a special deal if all 3 are bought together.
I have tried to take as many pictures as I can under different lighting conditions to reveal how versatile these shoes are, but if you need more, let me know.
Shoes come with original box and polish mat.
So let's kick it off
3. Galway
Size: 7.5E UK/8US
Last: 82
Colour: Navy
Material: Utah (very soft and supple but extremely durable)
Sole: Dainite
RRP: £920
My Price:£430 £410 (yes that is 45% of retail price)
The legendary Galway, I am not sure what to write about them. The most versatile boot out there, and extremely good for any whether condition.
For the sake of full disclosure, there is small scratch at the toe of left boot, but hardly seen, normal wear and tear really. Obviously everything can be easily covered by some black polish.
Some more pictures added this week to help the chaps sitting on the fence - get them when they are hot
1. Chelsea SOLD
Size: 7.5E UK/ 8US
Last: 202
Colour: Dark oak antique (the old sweet dark oak, not the new superdark one)
Material: Calf
Sole: Single leather sole
RRP: £765
My Price: £350
One of the most classic Oxford shoes on earth, used almost exclusively within my office (apart from the time I got to step out for lunch or meetings)
2. Windermere SOLD
Size: 7.5D UK/8US
Last: 202
Colour: Burgundy
Material: Horween Shell Cordovan (Crup)
Sole: Double Leather Sole
Well: Stormwelt
RRP: unknown - they seem to be gone forever - last time I saw it was on Mr Porter website at over £1k
My Price: £470
Another pair on the classic Derby, extremely versatile, probably one of the best shell I have ever handled, never had any issue with rain spot etc, easy to maintain. The colour varies a lot under different lighting condition
It is marked as "D" width but fit exactly the same as the Chelsea pair above in E width - not sure why, prob because Shell fits differently. Comparison pictures provided for your ease of reference.
