this might be old news, but I hadnt dropped into Saks on Wilshire in a while til this weekend.

In addition to the usual brands they've carried for a while (Oliver Spencer, Testoni, Barker Black, Church's etc) they carry a few models of Edward Green now for those in the LA area interested in checking em out. So you got Lobb next door at Neiman and Green at Saks

also had lunch at Fashion Island and checked out Gary's.....their Bontonis are pretty sick. One pair I was drawn to was in burgundy with norwegian stitching on the soles, in a wholecut with brogueing and medallion. They also had quite a few nice Canali shoes at under $500 pricepoint which seemed like nice shoes on quick inspection. and as usual they have a few pairs of Alden cordovans (plain oxford and penny loafer)

Nice to see more higher end offerings in socal for men's shoes.

Good tip. I was just at Barneys on Wilshire last weekend to look at shoes. I had hoped they might have a few C&Js. Nada. Just lots of designer stuff. Tried to stop by the Turnbull store but they were closed for Sunday. Next time I'll be sure to drop into the Saks.

Last time I was in Barneys, some months ago, they told me they no longer were carrying C&J, at least at that store.

Wonder if any of the EGs at Saks will find their way to the Off-5th?
