Hello all just wonder what the feelings are about this collaboration as I just picked up on E-bay some formal Edinburgh in size 10 D 389 Black - They are brand new never worn, came in a black EG box with zipper black and gold shoe bags - I think they are wonderful and the fit like a glove - I found them on e-bay for $275

Very nice shoes.

However: they are made no differently than the regular EG line, yet cost a hell of a lot more. The one difference is that they are made on a last -- 707 -- that is supposedly unique to the store, but rumor has it if you call EG and beg a little, they will make you a special order on the 707, for a lot less than you would pay Flusser.

Well, the bags are a lot nicer, but I wouldn't pay so much just to get nice shoe bags.

Mmmm, boasting: I've got a pair of Flusser shoe bags for free (when Tony G still worked for Edward Green).

They've got nice silken tassels dangling from the zip slider (to be honest, for all I know, those tassels might not be silk, but polyester).

opera slippers?

you got a good deal in the sense they probably retailed astronomically.

but in general slippers can be had for steals on ebay, just due to lack of demand

Only thing different is the last. Flusser uses 707 for all their shoes, even the slip-ons.

I've seen this on the Japanese sites, although I've also read that the 909 last was invented for the Flusser slipons.

In any event, EG's formal shoes appear to use different lasts than their normal shoes do.

This is a blatent thread hi-jack, but where can I find calf opera pumps in this style? I found some EG/Purple Label's on GVH, but, alas, not in my size (unless I want a bow in funky colors instead of standard grosgrain).
