Hey guys, living in Toronto I don't come across Joseph Abboud suits very often but I like this suit but I was wondering if it is worth the price? I talked to the dealer who is willing to sell it for $200. Any advice would be appreciated. BTW, can I take a suit with no vents and make it double vented? Thanks guys. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws....8434593

I think that is a fair price for an Abboud Black Label should you like the suit. I can't comment too much on the construction though Abboud claims that they are of canvass construction. Overall I think it is a resonable buy, even if it is fused.

What other designer/company would you compare the construction to? Hugo Boss? Arnold Brant? I need a light summer suit so the color fits the bill, just not sure about bang for the buck.

If that's the styling, cut, etc you're looking for and you're not just buying it because it's convenient or you're in a rush it seems like a pretty good deal. I also don't know enough about Abboud Black Label to comment on the quality.

As for the vent question, you can have the tailor close up vents but you can't have him make vents where there were none, as the latter requires additional material (I'm sure lot of people here could give the technically detailed explanation).

Hey guys, thanks for the heads up. Although I like the color and the price, the suit appears to be a bit long in the jacket and a bit boxy according to the measurements. Better luck next time I guess.
