dressing for a wedding

would it be ok to wear a tucked in collared button up white shirt with jeans and maybe a tie? or should i just go the traditional way with dress pants?

A. Depends on whether it's a cowboy wedding.

B. Why would you want to dress casually to a wedding? You're not there to look fashiony, you're there for other, important reasons. Part of dressing up for a wedding is to show respect for the couple and that you're willing to go through the pain ********** of getting dressed up for them, the free dinner you're getting and the open bar later.

That said, if the open bar doesn't exist, all bets are off. My last wedding attended involved a bottle of Andre in the parking lot.

thanks im just going to wear the dress pants tie and all the normal stuff. lol it was just a thought man thanks for the help.
