Pleats are entirely a matter of personal preference and whilst your statement that you do not like them is your opinion and thus might be freely stated - it is also wrong in mine.

Dunno - every unpleated set of pants Ive ever worn save jeans has ultimately been way to punishing on the male bits. But hey, to each their own.

I have both, with and without. I'm actually transitioning to without though; my suits have cuffs, as do my dress trousers...a bit of separation, as it were.
