Dior 19cm Raw compared to A.P.C PS

can anyone compare the quality of Apc vs. dior. I own a pair of APC that faded nicely but I am wondering if trying a pair of dior raws are worth it?

I own a couple of pairs of Diors and a pair of APCs. Not owned a pair of the raw Dior's but I tried them on when deciding whether to go with APC or Dior. Went with the APCs as they seemed like they would age better - the denim was slightly heavier and construction seemed more robust.

Probably not worth paying twice the price for the raw Diors other than brand whoring. The pre-treated Diors are beautiful though (or were, not paid much attention to the last few seasons).

I prefer my Raw Diors to my Petit Standards. The fades I am getting on them are sicks and they are a lot softer then the Petit's.

I have the PS in Indigo, and the Dior 19cm in Black. I like the PS way better than even the Indigo 19cm. It's really up to you though, but the APC's are better IMO

Though my Black Dior's are my fav jeans now since I've had them for 6 years...they look insane

if you wanna talk fits, then PS is more like 17.5cm

im more on fit, nuances in actual construction and fabric is a wash for me. dior 19cm has a better ,edgier fit. apc is slightly generic (their slimmest model that is)

make sure you get pre kva/hedi raw dior denim. its a little bit more than the current offering, but quality was way back when hedi was making the denim, and the cut is better.

Agreed, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The Diors look awesome, but the APCs are more understated, which makes them suitable for wearing places you don't necessarily want to make a statement/look like a rockstar.

Very true, but the raw diors aren't to flashy, it's just when you start getting into the luster and crocodile print diors. I would say Dior hands down, the MIJ's are amazing, the cut and construction are leaps and bounds above apc, not saying apc's are poor quality, but dior has it much more refined.

Both fabrics are okay, nothing amazing.

I like the Dior cut better, it's unique, P.S looks like every run of the mill mallbrand skinny jean.

As far as fading goes, Diors fade pretty slow and don't get very contrasty... but they fade to light blue and eventually to white while APC's fade to shitstain brown.

Yeah I've got the Hedi-era jeans. They're leaps and bounds better than the kva stuff...

my Black pair are still in rotation, though not suitable for work anymore as they're so ripped, faded...

Dior MIJ is better by far, and worth every bit of the additional cost.

Dior 19cm "Made In Japan" are superior quality to APC. Does it justify the retail price being double what APCs are? That is up for debate.

The cut/fit is your opinion to decide.
