Having lived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for four years, I have seen a glimpse into the lives of real "big-timers", including: - private oval track, for putting your collection of vintage Ferraris and British convertibles (MG, Austin Healey, etc.) through their paces; - flying to Bahrain for a few beers whenever the mood takes you; - a menagerie of Arabian oryx, lions, etc. in a private game park in your backyard. Of course, there are the inevitable shopping trips to Europe and the Far East, where six-figure expenditures on clothing and jewelery are common. However, as the old adage goes, money doesn't buy taste.
