Just got my Brown Shell Marlows from the October GMTO (had to be re-made as they sent the wrong size) and they are, wait for it...

wheeled.

No complaints here and it was a nice surprise, but perhaps those who want wheeling on future orders should re-inquire as the factory may have changed their policy to allow it on storm welts.

Just received the tracking number for my Marlows from Lauren. Hope they have wheeling. I suspect they will as they were probably made in the same batch as mdubya.

Strangely though the Marlow order was submitted to the factory 1 month after the Lindrick MTO and I haven't heard anything about them yet. Going on 18 or 19 weeks I think. Starting to feel like a Meermin customer.

I know most MTO makeups here are in shell or at least some sort of exotic leather. Having said that, is there any interest here for a Consiton boot in smooth black leather. Possibly with commando sole?

Just received tracking as well. Should be here on Friday for me!

Seems like single order MTOs may have wheeling.

Got my tracking # for the Marlows as well so we'll find out soon enough if its just this batch.

Did we enquire about having wheeling for this order? I know we did for the Whiskey Lindricks and were told straight up that it wouldn't be possible, but I don't know if it ever came up for this Brown Marlow run.

What's the cost (on top of base price) for a single MTO (for example to make a boot in a different color calf than what's available in their standard offerings)?

Yes, I did when working with Lauren and she said the factory won't do wheeling with storm welts. We all know they used to and then they just stopped for some reason. It would seem like they started again, but I'll let you know for sure when I receive mine on Friday.

Friday delivery for me as well!
