I was at the Beverly Hills store today, and SA told me they got a new batch of Marlows and C&J changed their leather to other cordovan. Can anyone confirm if that's true?

To cordovan from a different supplier? To a different color of cordovan?

I did the same with leather honey and was alarmed how quickly it was absorbed. It's my favorite conditioner. My Marlows went from feeling like cardboard to like..well..nice soft shell.

I've been thinking of trying this stuff, does it darken the shell much?

I had no issues with darkening on the marlows. On my alden whiskey shell they were darker but lightened back up after a couple days.
